Lianne Marie Dobbs was last seen in St. Louis in the title role in the musical adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma at The Repertory of St. Louis. She has soloed in an evening of Gershwin music alongside Jason Danieley and Marin Mazzie with the San Francisco Symphony and performed a leading role in a new contemporary opera written for the acclaimed Kronos Quartet with Julia Migenes and Anika Noni Rose. She has traveled the country performing big-voiced leading lady roles like Fantine in Les Mis, Aldonza in Man of La Mancha, Lucy in Jekyll & Hyde and Smokey Joe’s Cafe. Other notable credits include the Off-Broadway productions of Himself & Nora and A Tree Grows in Brooklyn and the 1st national tour of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. TV/ Film appearances include GIRLS and 30Rock and the recent film Maslow’s which gained attention at Toronto and NY Film Festival. Her debut album of jazz standards “Everything Old Is New Again” has received major radio play is available for purchase after the show.
